Just saw something about Randy Moss’s youngest son committing to Maine. Anyone have any info in him? Any idea why we aren’t recruiting him?

Yeah brother genetic inheritance doesn’t mean “cloning.” One generation can be freak athletes and the next suffer from something recessive or not “exactly” be the same based on the other dominant traits.

Weed and fighting (If I remember correctly)... Notre Dame and Florida State both gave him a shot.

Huge Randy Moss fan. Sr in HS committed to ND then the fight happened and it's racial undertones/legal consequences led ND to drop him.
Took care of most of his responsibilities legally and Bowden took a chance on him at FSU. Street and Smith did an article on him from that spring and the word was he was the best player on a loaded FSU team. Got popped for weed(test) and since still on probation in WV FSU dropped him.
Went to Marshall because they were home and 1-AA so he could transfer and be eligible immediately. Joined up with Chad Pennington, won the 1-AA national title and dominated as a Freshman. Marshall moved up to D-1 for his sophomore year and he again dominated his way to the Bilentnikof. His legal issues caused him to drop in the draft. Dallas promised they'd take him and then passed. He got drafted by Minnesota and vowed he would make the Cowboys pay. And commenced to destroying them his entire career.
Fascinating guy with an interesting life who just so happened to be one of the greatest natural talents we've ever witnessed.
