He must be a good one? Lil bro too?

LSU is definitely taking a different type of receiver it seems. Going after several 160 pound guys with speed. Didn't see that under Les.

I mean we had those guys but Cam was definitely moving toward a bigger body receiver. All the guys 6 ft and under transferred out under Cam.

At least we are sure the staff has the right number!

Yes.
And it drove me crazy, because he used them like other teams use smaller bodied receivers. Where were jump balls with 6'3"-6'4" receivers vs. 6' or smaller DBs?
Size isn't always everything. Trindon Holliday was superb for his size. And I actually saw Wes Welker play in HS. Welker was never used to all his strengths until he played on Sundays.
It seems Canada will play his offensive athletes to their strengths vs. their respective defenders. Remains to be seen but I am cautiously optimistic.

Can't wait until someone accuses of LSU of being "outworked."

I wonder if this means Dillon will get on the field this year

Booooooo I want the WR corp to look like a basketball team. Nothing but 6'3 and up body types.

I agree. Orgeron is a freak of a hard worker at recruiting.
If he wins, we'll roll in recruits.
If he wins, we'll roll in recruits.

O has a tendacy to be a bit too aggressive sometimes in recruiting. A former LSU player from Tennesee told me the reason he signed with LSU is because O wouldn't leave him alone while he was at Tenn. said he would call him at 6AM before he went to school in the morning.

Depends on the kid. There are those who signed for that reason exactly.

Yea I bet that's why he went to LSU

yep. I would say it probably works more than it hurts. I'm not saying it's a right or wrong approach. I'm not qualified to have an opinion on that. I'm just pointing out a relevant story to add to the narrative.

I had same thinking of maybe a LF7 & bro situation but his bro is a 4* safety currently committed to A&M with an impressive offer list. LINK
Let's get em both

Whoa.....good find. Little bro might be better than big bro.....
Let's get them both...

Jarvis and Odell were both under 6ft and didn't transfer.
And he wasn't moving towards a bigger body receiver. It was talent they focused on.
Nothing wrong with Dural, Dupre and Chark, all 6'2 and over.
Gage 6'0
Sullivan 6'6
Anderson 6'5
Netherly 6'3
McMath 6'3
They have been all over the place. I don't see much of a pattern you're trying to describe. If you can play they recruit you.
Those transfers had more to do with the offense and QB play than a direction in size.
