Four-star Louisiana quarterback Justin Rogers is primed to ink his letter of intent on Friday with TCU, where he committed over the in-state Tigers back on May 31. Since then, LSU has shifted its focus onto Foster, who will officially visit right after the dead period concludes on Jan. 12 weekend.

“Everything is the same with them,” Foster said of LSU. “When I take my official visit, I want them to make it feel like home. Then, I’ll make my business decision. What feels like home? Having a great relationship with the coaches and the coaches having a great relationship with my mom.”

Foster will be seeking out that “home” feel in Baton Rouge first. The Elite 11 finalist will head to Alabama on Jan. 19 and try to squeeze stops at both Texas A&M and Florida State in the final week before National Signing Day in February.

Yeah that's what I think as well. We are still in the mix only because we are still on his list as far as taking an official.

Some families share love and support, others share souped up Dodge Chargers.

The article also says Bama is trying to flip Emory Jones from tOSU. If that's the case then Bama no longer is a good business decision. FSU has too many unknowns at this point so not so sure either. O is pretty good at developing a good relationship with the mom's so he may be able to keep us in the final decision. I do agree that we've lost ground though. Kind of sucks because he was a little known prospect going to Mizzou and once we offered everyone else started salivating over the kid.

What makes you think this? Do you have a basis or is it just negative thinking? Just a reflex statement he will pick another school over LSU?

I think LSU is in a very good spot here. All it will take is some good solid communication with the kid and his parents to show LSU is his best opportunity which I think it is. They will just have to get that across to him. LSU is really the only school on that list that doesn't have their QB firmly planted as a starter.

It would be totally up to him and his determination as a QB that decides whether he gets the nod. If he does come in with guns blazing there's a good chance he will at least start in his Junior year with a RS and could possibly start his sophomore year with a RS if he beats out LN. He could also get some playing time next year with MB if he's advanced enough.

Idk it will take some good communication but I have no doubt that O will connect with him and his mother like he wishes. We'll see what happens.

He wants to come to LSU but if we do not recruit him like we want him then he will go elsewhere.

LSU has never at any point been his leader and Foster is a AL native. Hard to resist the temptation of spurning the hometown school.

With the news that Rogers and Bohannon are out, and Foster “making a business decision”, sounds like no QB this class unless we pull a rabbit out of our arse

Unless Jones flips to Florida and Mullen instead. That's been gaining a lot of traction lately

We could use a QB commit but no need in using up spot for guy that has no chance at ever seeing field. Just for sake of getting one commited makes no sense. At this point it's Forster or NOTA and I am good with that.

I think FSU is the team to beat. They are showing him the most attention. Foster said A&M is to far from home for his family. Bama is coming on strong. He likes Bama but he is concerned about Tua. He mentioned that he's been hearing rumors of Tua possibly transferring. I've seen Coach Ansley and Daball up at the school recently to visit him.

Coach Robinson came by a couple of times a few weeks ago. I thought Coach O would stop by when he visited Joiner but for some reason he didnt. He just doesnt know much about LSU at this point. His OV keeps getting rescheduled.

Using the phrases "feel like home" then "business decision" to describe a single event is dumb. They are directly contrary to one another.

That's like saying I want a room to be simultaneously cold and hot.
