With Ole miss getting hit hard with sanctions and MSU bringing in a guy that not many have heard of. I know they usually dont produce tons of talent but now is the time to get the recruiting pipeline down.

Miss. is stacked the next 2 years. 2019 has 10 4stars in the state.

2019 class LSU could hit majority: LA, MISS with a few from Tx and Fl and finish with a top 3 class
Sounds easy but with Jimbo and saban there are no guarantees

With that open staff spot due to the retirement of Coach Pete Jenkins, Coach O should take a chance on Hugh Freeze. Make him the quarterbacks coach, and let him recruit. Combine him with Coach O, Corey Raymond, Coach Amanda, and Meatball, they'll probably have the best coaching/recruiting staff in the country.

Actually, per capita they produce pretty damn well.

We have under-recruited Mississippi for a long time. We should put the same focus as we do in East Texas and Florida with Mississippi.

I agree although we've done better recently. We jumped on Cole Smith before state and ole miss did. Same with Saahdiq Charles. Jalen Collins and Stevan Ridley are the only other ones that come to mind from recent classes--I could be missing someone though

Its tough whent so many kids from there have there hands out with local schools willing to put something in those hands and/or are almost always grade risks.
