After already making early imprints in the heads of in-state RBs in the 2015 (Brossette and Guice) and 2017 (Moses) classes, Les Miles and his staff sought an in-state back to fill the void in between by offering North Webster RB Devin White after a solid camp performance. White is 6'2 223 already, according to his profile.
In his freshman season, he helped lead North Webster to the second round of the class 2A playoffs by rushing for more than 800 yards on offense and racking up 80 tackles, 5 sacks and 2 pick 6s as a LB on defense.
Best of all, White maintains a 3.8 GPA. He has mentioned that LSU has always been his favorite school, as the Tigers are the first school to offer him.

I have it on high authority that White is most def. a BAMA lean. He's been a BAMA fan since he was 3.

Fournette was more/less around the same size when he was that age. But, White is also a stud on defense, so there is always that option. I'd like to take at least one RB from Louisiana each year, however, if the talent is there.

I was wondering how this affected David Ducre in the '15 class, because I thought we'd be taking 3 in that class.
He was at camp this week and didn't get an offer, but obviously there is still plenty of time for that to happen.

Dave is just starting to get noticed. This is his first major camp he has been to. Has an offer from Southern Miss, and gets plenty mail from Florida State, and Georgia. Great kid!
