Is he a true dual threat, like the unused R. Shep or just labeled one like Harris or Jefferson

That can go both ways. It could be a sign that we're not hearing what we like from Rogers, but it could also be a tactic to get Rogers to go ahead and flip and secure his spot since we have other options.

Also, it gives us a fallback plan in case we can't get Rogers or Bohannon and we put in the work early enough that it's not obviously Plan C.

Yea, I'm with you on that. Was really expecting a change with Roger's, especially considering he and Marshall (from what I've heard) supposedly made comment's that they would like to play college ball together and Marshall dropped TCU from his list. I know Marshall isn't a lock to LSU (nobody is a lock anywhere until the LOI are signed) but from all indication's he seems to be leaning in that direction. Honestly, I can't see any reason why an offensive skill player wouldn't want to play in Canada's system. It's like a complete change from the system under Miles and everybody can get touches. I'm still waiting for an Olineman to catch a pass or run the ball. Tackle eligible, the old fumbelruskie (however that's spelled). This offense is fun to watch, it's gotta be a whole lot more fun to play in. But, who knows, it's a long way to NSD, still may happen.
