If she signed papers today I would think that that would mean she would be part of this incoming class. I'm saying that because it is not time for next year's class to sign their paperwork yet. I could possibly be wrong but just my interpretation. She can still receive a medical red shirt even if she's going to go ahead and come to campus and get started on her degree program.

Getting her on campus and in the program and being able to maybe start working out late in the season and getting oriented to college lifeIs important to being ready to go next year. She graduated high school so why not come to campus

If enrolled and redshirting she would still have the advantage of intensive rehab with the trainers monitoring her progress daily. They got McKenna back to her old form in a year.

Does anyone know if Ciena Alipio is on LSU’s radar?

LSU’s Twitter announced that Alyona will compete sometime in the upcoming season. Does anyone know if she had a complete rupture to her Achilles? Seems to me that she’d redshirt in the spring since that injury takes a year to come back from.

Yeah, Jay could have just been mis speaking when they quoted him in the interview about contributing this season, or he may think she can get back and do bars and have a dismount that doesn't put a lot of pressure on the Achilles.

I would have thought she would be red shirting but she puts up videos of her swinging bars and her rehab boot, so you never know

I looked at the roster and I thought we had 2 more ladies joining the team. Is this the complete team listing?

It’s missing Kamryn Ryan and Courtney Goodrich. I think they’re both walk-ons.

Just wanted to let our gym family know Don Finnegan passed away. I am sure the family would cherish your prayers since they are a family of faith

I saw that Ashlyn Kirby is no longer on the roster - does anyone know what happened there or if it’s a mistake ?

From all indications on social media, she's still on the team. But that roster has changed literally every week the past 2 months.

It appears that LSU is going to have a lot of depth next season.

Seniors: Edney, Harrold, Kirby
Juniors: Campbell, Dean, Desiderio, Durante, Edwards, Gunter
Sophomores: D'Antonio, Ferrer
Freshman: Goodrich, Johnson, Rivers, Ryan, Shchennikova (?), Smith, Alexia Nibbs(?)

Of course I don't expect all of them to contribute, but I hope LSU will play around with the lineups more. I think back to last year when the team was heavily reliant on Finnegan. She kinda wore down toward the end of the season. That shouldn't be the case this year.

Do we know if Ashlyn Kirby is still on the team? Also, I have not seen any mention of Alexia Nibbs except on here. So is she a walk on also?

I do know that Ashlyn is still with the team and Alexia has been in social media posts with the other freshmen on campus although I don't now if she is a walkon or not

Such a shock and heartbreak for these two wonderful families!!
These two (Tigers)young ladies are two of the most real and sincere girls you will ever find on this Earth!! They are real and although they they heartbroken at the moment, they will survive this devastating blow because of their faith and inner strength.
We love you Lexie and Sara and you are contantly in our thoughts and prayers!

I think I may have accidentally given a down vote to your post, East Texas. Trying to give an up vote on my phone. (Not sure if there is a way to undo something!)

Does anyone know what happened? I assume since it was sudden that he was not ill.

My heart goes out to both the Finnegan and Priessman families.

I feel so guilty even googling the obituary (just so sad) but it says it was sudden. Complete guess, but he was 55, so I would think heart attack.

So tragic for both ladies.
