So proud of Lilly. Can’t believe she turns 15 in a few weeks.

Can you all imagine being Maggie Haney and Al Fong/Armine next year...having multiple gymnasts vying for the Olympic team in the same gym. Glad I am not a coach.

The senior nationals is a nightmare w/ the exception of like a couple gymnasts.

All the girls that went to PAN AM's look like a wreck. They look extremely fatigued. Of course this is like their 3rd competition in a row in an extremely short period.

No one is competing anywhere near their capabilities w/ the exception of Biles and Sunisa Lee. Jade fell apart on bars just now.

Looks like McCusker will scratch on her last 2 events there or zeros already posted for her scores...
I notice she went straight to the dressing Room after bars

Aleah wrapped up with a big floor routine, stuck silvas and double Arabian

Gets a big ovation from entire crowd

She looked a bit lethargic in warm ups so they made the right call IMO. None of the PAN AM girls came close to their AA potential score.

Side note but unless the routine changed, Aleah's beam D score went from 5.8 at Classics to 5.0 at nationals.

I remember, she removed the switch ring leap. Although I may need to do math, a .800 difference just from that? I don't think so.

Looking at a post on Twitter she was also in the top 5 on execution scores. Just tells me she will be a great college gymnast because they value execution and precision more than difficulty and big tricks

I don't know any GAGE gymnast that isn't a great NCAA athlete. They focus on the foundation and execution before difficulty. That is why they thrive after level 10/elite in the college ranks.

Aleah is going to be killer at LSU as an all arounder.

I think Aleah downgraded at Nationals on purpose. All of the girls looked exhausted. I think it was a smart choice knowing she had a automatic berth to selection camp. Now I hope they all get some much needed rest. But it does suck that Aleah didn’t make the national team. Hopefully she’ll be added at one of the camps soon.

Riley was off night one and had some major issues tonight, opting out of the last two events. Eaker and Wong had a very very difficult weekend, both had some major crashes on both days on multiple events, very unusual.

I don't think they will be letting them do 3 events in a row on such short rest again. Injury waiting to happen.

Side note. I really hope we land Konnor McClain.... we have real shot for her. Bring her home Jay.

Any guess on the Worlds team right now? If just by judging tonight, I’ll say the only 2 locks are Biles and Lee. My next 3 would probably be Carey, Hurd, and McCallum/Eaker/McCusker.

I personally would take McCusker over Hurd despite her dropping out tonight for safety precautions.

They have some options, obviously Biles will represent in the AA, Vault, Beam and floor finals at least. Then you need another strong AA which could be McCusker or maybe Sunisa (both also are specialties on bars). I am not sold on Grace, she is a very strong AA'er but would she bring home a medal in a event final? Eaker is a sure bet from a beam specialist and potentially in the AA but she really would only bring beam medal to the table.

Anyone else confused on Aleah's D score on beam?

Also I though she was robbed on her E score on floor.

I would take Biles, Lee, Hurd, and McKusker. Hurd has international experience and seems to always peak at the right times. They say Riley had a stomach bug. I'm just not sold on Grace but that's me.

Looking forward to her contributing at LSU. She seems extremely dedicated to getting back healthy quick. She still swings backs and is doing cardio.

I am excited about this coming season but man in 2021 we will have Dunne, Bryant, Arenas, Alyona and Kelley.

Will Alyona be a part of the 2020 class or wait until she has recovered from her injury then come for the 2020/21 Class?
