I'll have this updated some time this week. CWW said at yesterday that they are looking to only take one or MAYBE two more guys in 2022 class because he expects to have almost everyone back and that they are starting to look towards 2023 and 2024 guys.

Yeah as it stands right now we have just Pinson and Days leaving, and you would expect Reid is a 1 and done. So we might only have 3 spots to fill between recruiting class and portal...I say that now and like usual we'll be taking 5-6 guys as 2-3 more will probably transfer or medically retire or something.

Watched Julian a decent amount tonight. He’s so freaking smooth considering how athletic he is.

You don't have to tell Wade he is going to love him. Wade recruited him and has said that Julian may be the most talented player that he has ever signed.

Since Pinson is a Sr and there are no point guards listed as recruits, does that indicate Miller is coming back, or Wade is going to the Transfer portal again for an experienced PG?

Miller has no where to go. He averaged 8 ppg at Illinois and 7ppg on team USA. Already used his free transfer ticket. He’s here at least another year. I bet they add a transfer this offseason at the position tho. Wade likes to have 2 lead guards on the court at once so only having Miller and Gaines would be pretty thin.

Wade has previously stated that we are basically done with the 2022 class (2 commits) because he expects everyone back except Pinson and Days (2 seniors). However, Tari is playing his way into 1st round discussion so he is a probable leave which I would imagine Wade dips into the portal for Tari's spot.

Will be interesting to see how we handle next season at guard. Miller and Williams are combo guards, not PGs. Gaines is pretty obviously a pure PG. Murray is obviously a pure 2 guard. We definitely will be adding 1 more guard to the roster losing Pinson to have 5 guys there. I'm not sure he's wrapped up the 2022 class still just yet...but maybe he will just hit the portal to find another guard as well.
I would guess with those 4 guys he would have Miller handle the starting 1 spot and Murray the starting 2 spot with Gaines and Williams off the bench. Miller did average 5-6 assists a game in high school so he's not incapable of handling PG duties. Would probably be similar to Smart in that aspect.
I dont see Eason back so that will likely be a portal replacement as well.
I would be shocked if we dont see more roster movement as well between Ezewiro, Colbert and O'Neal. We always do.
My dream is we get the big kid from Louisiana Tech if he hits the portal. Kenny Lofton. That dude needs to play from power conference basketball. What a physical baller he is.

He’s an off ball guard. He isn’t a facilitator. There’s a reason one of Pinson or Gaines is on the court at all times.
