Yeah I listened and he said he was thinking of signing three, maybe four players, next recruiting cycle. One was on campus and another couple were supposed to be coming in.
He said Days was joining some league to try and earn a spot.
I'm not knowledgeable if that League disqualifies Days from coming back to an NCAA position.

From my listening to the Wade/Culotta interview, Days was about ready to make a decision on whether to come back. But, the G league has an evaluation "combine" that could allow 6 or so players to get an invite the actual NBA combine. Days was going to get the further evaluation. in this G league combine. (Spots open up on the NBA combine because of injury or the high end invitees skipping the combine). The additional evaluation could delay Days decision by several weeks or more. My feeling was that if Days wanted to come back, a spot would be open. Wade specifically said that his final roster was not required until just before school starts.
There is also the Tre Mitchell possibility. I haven't read anything that makes me believe anyone really knows much about his landing spot.
Wade has a really good and versatile group now. He seems to be ready to improve things up until the deadline in August.

To expound on SCP's post and give an idea of the timeline for Days:
Days was invited to the G League Elite Camp which takes place June 19-21 (Javonte was too). 40 prospects were invited to this camp and outstanding performers get an invite to the Combine on June 21-27. The deadline to withdraw from the draft is 10 days after the Combine which is July 7th.

New offer for BB Knight 2022, AAU Houston Hoops HS: Katy Tompkins (Tx). I helped coach the kid his freshman and soph year. He's the meaning of a pure shooter. When shooting on air he's consistently 70%+ from the HS 3 point line and shot 41% from 3 as a junior. He's been lighting up the summer circuits and the offers are rolling in. He's got a very good basketball sense and will continue to mature as his level rises, is a coach's son, has a long wingspan, and has impressive bounce which is only increasing as he grows. The kid really loves to hoop and has an impressive work ethic for the game. Best thing about him is that he's a really good kid and his teachers love having him in class.

Wade is our gangster basketball coach and I'm happy to have him. He's similar to Vitello the baseball coach at Tennessee the way he's perceived. If he's your coach you love him if your the other team you hate 'em.

Updated to add Justice to the class and remove LeBlanc from projected roster, we have 1 spot open for next year which I would imagine would mean Darius is coming back but who knows.

Yeah looking like Days will be back which is huuuge. Didn't get an invite to the Combine despite playing pretty well in camp this week.
LSU also offered '22 Yohan Traore according to Andrew Slater.
Traore has offers from Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, Texas, Creighton, and UC Santa Barbara. 6'10" Center. He attends Prolific Prep in CA.

Talk is that Wade will save 1 of the spots for a mid-year transfer or early enrollee, which LSU had 1 of both this past season.
So if Days comes back then he gets 1 and the other is saved.
