I don't think we get Cisse or Kuminga. I think Kuminga stays in the 2021 class and I think Cisse lands elsewhere.

I'm guessing Watford stays and we land Anselem.

I think our roster will look something like this...

Manning - G
Days - F
Smart - G (Wouldn't surprise me to see him leave for pro ball)
Watford - F (Wouldn't surprise me to see him leave for pro ball)
Bishop - G
Hyatt - G/F
Cam Thomas - G
Cook - G
Ezewiro - C
Gaines - G
Wilkinson - F
O'Neal - F
LeBlanc - F

If we land Anselem, Cisse, or Kuminga and Smart and Watford stay, I expect Hyatt or Bishop to get processed. I'm also assuming Cooper gets processed.

I'm seeing a few down votes. I would love to hear what y'all think the roster will look like next year.

The only argument I have with that roster is that Anselem sounds like a done deal. Just a matter of who gets processed. Cisse and kuminga are long shots until more smoke appears.

Neither are long shots, We lead for Cisse and are in the thick of it for Kuminga

I can't see him going pro at this point. He's not on the draft radar so he'd be G League or overseas bound most definitely. I don't see him transferring either. I would count on him being back next year.

I mean I hope you are right I’m just holding off my optimism until something more concrete comes out regarding them.

We are in a great spot, this is definitely not a bad situation to be in. If we land Anselem, then Smart and Watford both stay it will be interesting to see what Wade does.

Bishop hasn't played a lot this season which is a little concerning because we aren't deep at guard. I know Wade said he had been dealing with some injuries, but it seems like he is still behind a walk on (i know he is on scholarship now) for back up guard role. Hyatt also hasn't been great this year. He seems like great 4-5 year player, which every program needs. However, last time i checked, he was shooting 3's close to 20%. Hyatt is the type of player that needs to make a living off of hitting open 3s, he isn't the athletic get to the rim type of G/F.

IMO, if we do land Anselem, I think Hyatt will be the odd man out. Overall we will be deeper at Forward and I think Bishop has more upside to him.

I agree, I don't think Smart is ready for the NBA. He is 100% a G-League or oversees player at this point. However, he did work out with the NBA last off season. I just wouldn't be all that surprised to see him take a shot. Hell, we see it all the time on the football side of things. Basketball is setup where these kids can make a little money in the G-league or oversees.

It's easy to say without having the 2020 kids on-site. He could just as easily be the 2nd best PG on the team.

Typical LSU fans. They want to shite on our existing players and look for reasons to replace them rather thank them for the hard work thus far. What a bunch of classless clowns. I sure hope that potential recruits are reading this garbage.

This ain't little league ball, this is Division 1 athletics. If you have your feelings hurt over what others are saying about current athletes you should probably stick to following high school sports.

What is your plan to fit the highly rated kids if they commit?

Thank you Bishop.

I would love to land one of these kids, but honestly I don't think its going to happen. Kuminga has blue blood written all over him. He will be at either UK or Duke. Also, not sure where you are getting "leading for Cisse". If he is leaning anywhere i think it would be Memphis. I don't see the kid leaving Memphis, TN while Penny is in town.

I'm going to allow Will Wade to handle that detail.
I'll critique every move he makes, but I will give him the freedom to make the decisions.

No one, that I am aware of, can say with certainty which PG will start next season.

Although he can handle the ball, Bishop's natural position is SG not PG. He was listed as a combo guard in high school.

“LSU is a serious contender for five-star big man Moussa Cisse, who could reclassify to 2020, if his classwork is in order. If the 6-10, 220-pounder does that, LSU is the expected favorite to land him.”

And Kuminga will most likely end at one of TTU/Barn/LSU really really doubt Kentucky
