I said somewhere else that LSU, Tennessee, and Texas are playing a different game than everyone else when it comes to recruiting.
Right now for 2027 (with a lot of time left and a lot of uncommitted guys) there are 18 kids in the top 100 committed to those 3 schools.

He's the number 12 kid in the 2027 class according to Perfect Game and number 2 according to Baseball America.

I like that Jay is going for these guys rather than just throwing in the towel to the draft.
Gonna be a fight to keep a ton of this class but I do like how he's at least getting commits and making them consider.

as far as Samir goes, he is also ranked in the top 20 nationally by BA and right now is 6'5 240 and up to 97 this past summer and heading into his junior year. Plays with Jordin on that stupid good USA prime team.
sat 92-94 at area code games and has a filthy change up. Big kid that could rework his body and become just unbelievable. Huge upside to him.

We're going in heavy in Florida and Georgia. We already have texas and california on lock .
