For those of you with ESPN+, the Nortwoods League playoff games are being shown on there. LaCrosse plays at 6:35 central.
They were under .500 in the first half and then had one of the best records in the league in the second half. Ethan Frey and Aiden Moffett arriving near the beginning of the second half gave them a big boost.
The American Legion World Series is also on ESPN+, but I don't know what teams or players are in it. I watched a little bit of a couple of the games because I want ESPN to keep showing it. I wish Legion were still a big deal for the best players in the country.

League City has to be Clear Brook or Clear Springs High School. I've lived in the Houston area for 17 yrs now, and have a kid who plays baseball in high school. I had no clue American Legion was still a thing at all, much less here in the Houston area.

Just looking around to see if any schools have started updating schedules or rosters and it looks like LSUE will be playing a double header at Alex Box against San Jac and McLennan on September 15th.
Should be a ton of talent on display. Rosters aren't updated yet, but all three teams usually have a bunch of dudes.

We're playing at Rice the midweek game before the Astros Classic. Other than that all we know is the SEC opponents (save for one).

2024 class I would imagine. I don't think we're still adding for this season. Players have reported to campus and classes start next week I think.

A thread on the MSB put me down a Perfect Game rabbit hole looking at rankings from the early to mid 2000s. I just discovered that Austen Roellig went to the same high school as former LSU slugger Matt Clark.

I love recruiting. I lost my passion for football recruiting a few years back. Too many flips and trolling by the players themselves. Flipping on the last day when a money bag comes out. I'm over it.
I'm all about the baseball now. Too bad there is so little information out there. I'm really appreciative of project for this thread and all those that contribute. I can't wait for the Fall, so we can start getting eyeballs on these new guys. See you then.

I am still football crazy, partially because I coach youth football, but can relate to what you are saying.
I will say I also love baseball; played every year during my youth. This is my favorite thread on TD! The regular posters on here are informative and good posters. We have nothing like this for football because of the number of stupid and rude posters. Thanks to Project and the regular contributors here. Appreciate you guys!
