If Hilliard and Dugas were to come back, along with the freshmen stars and future freshmen stars that are coming in, we could be really good.

I don't see Hilliard coming back
He wanted to sign free agent last year and my guess is he will try and do that this year if teams even offer that under new minor league setup

MLB.com just increased their draft prospect list to 200.

33. Jaden Hill
41. Ben Kudrna
64. Carter Jensen
77. Landon Marceaux
109. Cale Lansville
116. Ian Moller
125. Brock Selvidge

They also list a catcher from Live Oak, Blaise Priester at 179. I'm not familiar with him. He's signed with Meridian CC right now.

Selvidges stock is sliding. Might be good for us. Any idea why?

I haven't seen anything specific. It could just be getting passed up by other guys. One of the earliest identified groups of players are HS pitchers, so they get rated high early and then drop as other, less risky groups of players get identified.

If we were able to get Lansville, Moller, and Selvidge, next year could be a lot better!

Priester is a beast. High D1 talent. Rumblings that he has been told he's a top 3-5 round draft choice and that he will sign if chosen that high. Watched Live Oak play a bunch of times this year. he's phenomenal defensively

How is LSU's incoming freshman Brant Smith?

Project, just curious...I've seen the talk about Simon and Leto, and why they either will or may make it to campus.

What about guys like Taylor and Pearson? They have 10 grades on PG, but I never see them talked about as draft risks. Will they be Tigers?

Smith is similar to Beloso just not as big. he supposedly had a huge summer two years ago which is when his offer came. Priester, the SS, CF, and 1B were more dominant looking players to my untrained eye just watching games.

I don’t see where Smith will fit in to this team.

Seams like just about every pitcher we have committed throws 94+. That’s a good thing if they can throw strikes.

A couple more summer assignments I found: Alex Brady and Jake Wyeth are scheduled to play for Wenatchee in the West Coast League.

ETA: Incoming JUCO RHP Paul Gervase will pitch in the Appy League as well.

Yes. The middle boy, Josh. The baby was a freshman this year at WM.

Jacob was a top 50 prospect. Is there a significant difference in the two’s talent? I know jacob was bigger at that stage, but had a significant shoulder injury that made us throwing arm pretty week.
