Baseball America ranked us with the 7th best recruiting class in the country for this most recent class. This is the enrolled rankings, so it's only taking into account the guys that made it to campus.

Just a little housekeeping:
Riggs Threadgill has transferred to McLennan CC. He will be on the same team as former signee Connor Phillips.
Will Ripoll transferred to San Jacinto. He is joined there by former commits Ray Torres and Jake Hymel.
Thomas Wilhite is at Northwest Florida State.
Jake Scherer is at Pearl River CC.
I think that covers all of the players, commits, and signees from last years team and the 2019 class.

I'm trying to put together a list of their roster and where they were previously committed or playing before getting to San Jac.
A ton of high level D1 schools have former commits or players there. And that's usually why a lot of schools also recruit there.
LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Texas among others.

Billy Cannon, Jr went to Texas A&M.
One former player's kid I really hope we don't miss on is Cedrick Harris, Jr. His mom is former Tiger Marie Ferdinand. We should probably offer him in football, basketball, and baseball, just to be safe.

LSU picked up a commit today from Georgia C/1B Jared Jones. He's 6'4" 230 and in the 2022 class. I will add him to the list Monday.

I thought it was funny when his high schools football Twitter account said "OL" Jared Jones commits to LSU baseball.
Another site said he's only 215, but the pictures I've seen look every bit of 230.
