Are you factoring in the 5% overage they can use?

After looking at the kids Twitter feed and seeing him liking Lsu related posts, it's probably okay to say that the high school guy is Zack arnold from Great Oaks hs in temecula, ca.

Breaking: Mets have an agreement with Florida prep RHP Matthew Allan, the prized 3rd rounder who fell to pick No. 89 due to signability issue. To get the U. Of Fla. commit is a coup for team from Queens. Is considered 1st round talent.

He's currently playing in the California collegiate league for the Lincoln Potters and was drafted by the Orioles.

He was originally committed to Oregon. Beyond that, I don't have anything.

He’s an athletic shortstop. Got hurt his soph year and didn’t do a lot of time on circuits so under the radar to some degree but scouts do like him. Projectable frame, good bat and should add power.

Good defender, strong arm and above average runner

He didn’t have very good defensive numbers (from what I’ve seen...not sure how reliable it is) but at 6’2 it looks like he’ll have a ton of room to fill out and potentially become a left side of the infield starter. Very athletic and rangy as others have said.

I don’t know if he’s a first year starter but definitely a good pickup and 3-4 year guy after Cairo signed.

looks like he's hitting about .400 with a couple long balls and only 5 strikeouts in summer league so far.

Much easier to teach someone how to field a grounder than it is to teach them how to hit. Hell, if he’s a terrible infielder they can just move him to the outfield.

Did McGehee from Tioga RHP get a LSU offer?
Class of 2021 I believe.

Hopefully someone close to the Tioga program or to the kid sees your question and can shed some light. I can't find anything.

Tioga has been producing a lot of talent lately though.

They had some national high school tournament in Texas last night on TV and I was watching CA play FL and the announcers mentioned that Tioga pitcher McGehee had just gotten a LSU offer and was going to commit is the reason I asked.

Nice. I was trying to find those games on the ESPN app. That's the state vs state tournament right? It's just so damn hard to find offer info before a commitment happens.

The last article I read about a kid with an offer was about evangel shortstop Blake shapen a couple years ago, and he just committed to Arizona State. He's a 2020 kid.

Kyle Westfall an IF/OF from IMG with a PG grade of 9.5 just decomitted from Texas Tech.

Kind of feels like he might be going the juco route to re-enter the draft early but any chance of some interest there?
