Not saying I’d like it, but everyone knows it’s a good possibility

LSU could potentially have Garza, Beloso, Willis, Travinski at 3 spots. All 4 have exceptional power and I doubt Mainieri will want to simply platoon the entire season. Because of this I'm hoping they at least try Willis at 3B assuming Doughty is capable of handling SS.

Willis being able to defend anywhere at a high level would be ideal

He tweeted about it. Thanked them for giving him the opportunity to hear his name called. Good vibes all around

Not to jump the gun or forget the task at hand....but what’s everyone’s thoughts on the catching situation next year? Assuming Garza doesn’t sign with the Royals, they have 3 incoming catchers and 4 returning catchers.
Although 95% of games were caught between Garza and Mathis, Travinski could make a big splash and I’ve seen good things from Alex Milazzo. Thoughts...?

Defensively, Torres and Milazzo are ahead of Travinski but of course he has that bat. Typically you would transition the extra catcher to 1B and Travinski has played that also so maybe Beloso will DH with Travinski at 1B. As for catcher, that will be a dogfight with Mathis, Garza, Torres and Milazzo all competing for that spot.
I am curious now about LHP. There were none this year (injury) to now having 3 next year.

Depending on how the roster shakes out after the season, we may not be done adding players. I have a feeling we're still looking at JUCO guys to fill gaps. I think they're looking at some guys that just finished their freshman year at JUCO, so they could fit in the current class or the next one. And they may be waiting to see how guys perform this summer.

Maybe he could. It would seem like a catcher could make the transition easily due to his quick reflexes but we don't see a lot of them switching over. My knowledge of Torres is that he is an all around baller - hits well, good defense, etc. so maybe he could switch. Guys like that find a place somehow.

It's early but commits for next year that could be high picks include:
Romo
Crews
Money
Fowler

Hopefully they keep Drost and Morgan.
