That's pretty awesome! I wonder if a WR like Jarret would be harder for Ricks to cover. Jarret is so fast and has such good change of direction that I wonder if Rick's physical press will have limited effectiveness. Should be interesting!

My only concern with this is if RJ beats ER on a few routes the dumbasses coming out and posting stupid shite about whether ER is good enough to play at LSU. That’s all it takes is another jackass like Bradley13 or whatever his name is to go write some shite on his Twitter. If that happens again with ANYONE doing some shite like that it should be an immediate BAN!!!!!

CB Elias Ricks

Ricks reads QB's as good if not better than any HS player I've ever seen. He is almost as good as Tyrann at reading QB's. By the time his freshman season is over he might be as good as Tyrann. He gets his head turned on routes, plays the ball and goes and gets it. His cerebral skills are college ready right now. The only thing I see right now is he needs to get a little stronger in his upper body. He'll play a lot his freshman season at LSU.

You need to slow down a bit. Elias is very good and the best corner in the country but he still has work to do. Expect him to be like Kary was in his sophomore year in his freshman year. He still gets beat on some routes in camps and stuff but his frame is what makes him a 5*. He will be a 1st rounder when he leaves. Also, NOBODY will ever be Tyrann Mathieu again. It was almost magical what he did in a season. The number of opportunities that he had to make plays were insane and then the fact that he made them happen was another.

Hope they are equally impressive. And, hoping they both honor their commitments to us!

Both burns and ricks are super skinny, they both need to put on 20 pounds. Ricks Is a bean pole with chicken legs, they are not close to being ready right now.

It’s just hard for me to believe I’ll ever see a player as good as Tyrann...he was so good at everything the rant swear he couldn’t cover. God I hated that

Man if you’ll just stick to the RB board with these type of posts everyone will get along with you

I was saying at reading QB's, not overall as good. It's one thing to read a QB, it's another to make the plays, especially the way Tyrann did.

Yea, I was referring to reading the QB's, not actually making the plays. I wasn't saying he would be as good as Tyrann overall, just at reading the QB. But reading the QB doesn't mean he can make the play. He is very good at reading QB's right now.

Yeah, no way a CB can be successful in college at their sizes. I hope they and the coaches see your words of wisdom and correct this serious problem before it is too late.

ALL LSU DB's should be the size of a linebacker?

This thread is exactly like the ones I start on the Rant. The idiot level is just higher over there.

In the future let's do this: You worry about you and I will worry about me. If you want my advice just ask me. If I ever want your advice I will ask you. Deal?

You are very welcome.

Seeing that LSU's two 5-stars (one a DB and one a WR) were going to square off in a game is pretty big news to me. Like stated earlier - I just hope it will be on national TV.
