No worries man, you have always brought solid inside info and the circuit connection with our Florida guys seemed like it could sway him our way.

To be honest, would certainly not talk negatively about a recruit never know with 17 or 18 year olds if it got back. Wade and staff definitely lean towards position-less and uber athletic players. But he kind of rubbed me the wrong way, all about him and he truly thinks he is a one and done player, which he absolutely is not. A theme with our program from the coaches to the players we get, everyone has something to prove, do not get that vibe from Walker. I like our chances better with Watford and will stand by that he is LSU come decision time.

Well, all eggs in the Watford basket now in terms of a big time high school big.

Wade has got to be disappointed he only signed 2 guys this go around, he said just a week ago he wanted to sign 4.

Yep, I think the only disappointment was Quinones not signing, I actually do not think he is a part of this class.

Stand by what I said about Watford, we have an in that Memphis and Bama do not, and our pitch is totally different than theirs. He is a pro and will be the centerpiece of the class. Also see Sy filling the Bigby-Williams spot. He is not as good a shot blocker but a better scorer. Think the staff basically said there was no reason to sign him now as opposed to the late period.

My source was incorrect. He was sure that it was a done deal.

From what I heard and what you said your source kind of alluded to, Walker basically told Williams he was LSU and then flipped and flopped. It was all a game and pony show which he does not realize it, you never how burning a bridge when you do not have to can affect you down the road.

Will Wade is at the Dunham - Scotlandville game tonight. Lots of talent on both teams but I imagine he’s mainly watching Reece Beekman, ‘20 PG from Scotlandville. I don’t think either team has a ‘19 kid that is LSU caliber, although maybe Jordan Wright of Dunham is a backup plan.

Yeah and I think its definitely one of those games where you want to just be seen. LSU is in really really good shape for their 2020 class like they could have almost every one of their targets locked in going into the early signing period next year. I think Reece Beekman is a backup plan and does not really fit but very tough competitor and the relationship may be more important than than the fit.

I would absolutely love Jordan Wright in this class, but he is not a huge priority for a number of reasons. This is where blue shirts would be awesome, in the age of one and dones would love it if the NCAA expanded the roster to add 2 redshirt spots not allowed for injury/transfer reasons just development. But I digress I think Dante stays in the 2020 class and I think one more JUCO big is added to this 19' class. Would love a grad transfer guard as well.

Hearing that Will Wade is looking at Red River guard E’Maryeon McDonald class of 2021. Kid can shoot from anywhere. Had an assistant coach at Red River’s practice yesterday. He holds offers from Georgetown and Tulane so far.

Hopefully he grows, nothing against him just looked at some of his highlights and while yes Georgetown makes me look even more closely, when they recruit in LA usually hit on who they want and who they get. Do not know how much of a fit he would be. Do you know if he is with Adidas or with EYBL?

2021 recruit though so if he is already 6'0 170 as it says he could be somebody to keep tabs on for the future. He looked to have a good number of points and Mylik Wilson (ULL Commit) is on that team and guarded him or closed out on a couple of shots.

He plays for Louisiana Supreme. Went to Adidas All-American camp in California this Summer and really stood out with his shooting. Hes a very young sophmore too. He is small and will need to add weight but he has ridiculous range. He had 37 against defending 5A state champion Walker last week. He also has interest from Arkansas and Auburn.

Could be the first FB/BB player since Ronald Martin did it briefly.

From the sound of it, could be similar to Jeremy Combs situation from last year.

Our medical staff wont clear Kingsby to play, they werent clearing Combs either last year. Kingsby might feel like he's healthy enough he can play, so he's transferring to see if someone else will clear him.

Take note Combs transferred to Texas Southern and is a pretty good player this year averaging 12/7 at 55% from the floor.
