Any idea who signs early besides Bishop?

My best guess at this point is probably Charles Manning Jr and Lester Quinones would be a couple of others. Maybe CJ Walker if he has a strong visit next weekend. Would love to land Watford, but that will be a tough pull, though we're in it. I think there's a juco big man we're in it for, but the name escapes me.

Here's the latest offer by Wade (and specifically Greg Heier, who was the one actually making the offer)...

Khadim Sy (pronounced SEE), a 6-10, 240 pound JUCO sophomore at Daytona State College in Florida. Sy, originally from Senegal, played his freshman year at Virginia Tech in 2016-17, averaging 4.0 ppg and 2.7 rpg, shooting 57 percent from the floor.

I know this isn’t a recruiting question, but it would be suicide to ask this on the rant right now ......what happened to Noah Thomas?

What do you mean? He was brought on as a preferred walk on. Did something happen?

He is no longer on the roster and wasn't seen anywhere on Saturday at the scrimmage.

His twitter shows he’s still all LSU. Just retweeted about the Georgia game.

Weird. This still exists.

Maybe it didn't work out?

Walk-ons often have a short shelf life. They get to school and realize how much work they have to do for nothing.

Not saying that’s case here, but it’s common.

Yeah the only thing is he was not the normal "walk-on" he had I think 2 mid major offers like Stephen F. Austin or Lamar and then a MAC team, but chose to walk on and possibly earn a scholarship. He also had played on some really good travel ball teams. Went to a very good school district so cannot imagine its a grades thing already unless it relates to missing class or a failed in house drug test.

Love this offer and would immediately fill in for Bigby-Williams. In this little clip of his time at VT, he shows great timing and an unreal wingspan. He also looks to have pretty good touch on jump hooks and runs the floor extremely well in transition.

Like this offer too. we’ll need a rim protector with Bigby-Williams and Reid leaving.

CJ Walker and Charles Manning Jr will be visiting LSU this weekend. Look for Manning to commit soon after.

What’s the deal with Manning? Wade must like what he sees? I see he doesn’t have many D1 offers and looks like he only started 7 games in his freshman JUCO season.

Supposedly Manning has really nice length and is uber athletic. I’ve heard that he could be a better replacement to D. Edwards from a defensive and hustle standpoint. The staff really likes his game. Defends, can drive, pass, and shoot. I like to trust Wade in his evaluations

With CJ Walker, LJ Cryer, and N’Faly Dante all on campus this weekend it should be a nice chance for us to grab some momentum on the trail. I’m hearing Walker’s visit went really well and we are the now in the lead after him being considered a Miami lean. Maybe others in the know can add to how the weekend went for these 3 guys!

Well they have replaced Daryl Edwards and Tremont Waters.

Is it expected that Hyatt and Cooper will redshirt this year?
