LSU 2017 recruiting class might become an all time LSU class

So I was looking at this article that listed the top 5 best recruiting classes the past 5 years, and by the headline, I figured it was ranking the best regardless by production, accomplishments, and rounds drafted. My thinking is that LSU in 2017 obviously would crack the list. In actuality, it stated in the intro that it was ranking the top #1 classes by that criteria.
Anyway, it got me to thinking, just how good that class has been, and how good it could finish. Could it be all time at LSU or more?
As of right now that class majorly helped win a national championship and has gone 37-9 overall. In addition, what went to the draft, just a few months ago;
Chaisson 1st round
Jefferson 1st round
Queen 1st round
Helaire 1st round
Delpit 2nd round (Thorpe award winner)
Phillips 3rd round
Charles 4th round
Next year these are guys that could and should go top 2 rounds
Stevens
Shelvin
Depending on how they play, these guys have the talent to go top 4 rounds after this year
Ingram
Vincent
McMath
Farrell
Add in Deculus as a likely draft player and Brennan with the potential in talent and offense to be a top round draft pick, and you have one of the most impactful and NFL loaded classes I can remember.
And you know what's crazy about that, Alabama's same class that year that has been the highest graded class over the last 5 years, is the only top ranked class in that span, that can compete with that production. In that class 16 of Bama's 29 commits were ranked in the top 105, with 6 being 5 stars, and a 17th commit being the #2 JUCO recruit. For reference, LSU only had 8 commits in the top 95 (and only 8 in the top 150 overall), and only one 5 star.
Only LSU one I can think that can compete with it, since they've been ranking recruiting classes, is the 2003 class that had 4 first round picks. Stevens, Shelvin, and Brennan all have the potential and chance to become first round picks which would put it way past 2003.

McMath and Vincent are two guys that could go up a shite ton. We've seen NFL teams draft mainly off of speed a lot lately. If he runs a 4.2-4.3 at the combine he could jump into late 1st-2nd. (Also depending how he plays, if he plays like he did at the end of the year I could 100% see him managing to get into the 1st)

Yeah that class just won the national title

So, that should be at least 16 players drafted

I had no clue how fast Racey was until that A&M game last year, dude has size, strength, and the wheels!

For being around 6-3 to 6-4, not him and Marshall are fast as hell. Both of them run around a 4.4.

Was Logan in that class?

I always thought that was a great class from it signing the LOIs.. Wilson, DT. was the one guy I would have liked to add.

I agree with your assessment of this class; gifted and exceptional work ethic. But the real story is a generational quarterback who just happened to settle into an offensive scheme that no one was prepared for. Joey B's leadership and execution even inspired the defense to rise to another level.

I think Stevens with his versatility could sneak into the first. Vincent played like a first or second rounder the back half of last year and he’s gonna run in the low 4.3s so he could sneak into the first too. Shelvin has been mocked in the first so he’s got a chance too
That class is definitely the cornerstone of this run

Agreed. I knew it was elite. I could not have guessed it would have developed into one of the best single classes in LSU history.

The amount of times I’ve posted this graphic after 17’ to show future promise & it was denounced by Rantards was staggering.

All of those early reps really worked out well for A&M

They haven’t had anyone drafted from that class yet lol
LSU has had 7

Vincent is going to mirror Donte Jackson's final season. He was a breakout star at the end of the year. These shutdowns are going to suppress his draft grade if he doesn't get another year of film, it's really sad.

I am so excited to see him play. I hope he’s our number 3 WR this year, but if someone beats him out, got damn we must be loaded

Racey and Myles have good chemistry.
Would not surprise to see Racey the early season WR leader going into FLA
He needs this season. Folks think he’s not Round 1 material. We’ll show em
Added: We’ll have 3 on the Biletnikoff Watch List after a few weeks
