What are the possibilities of LSU landing Willie Gay? Have we been recruiting him hard?

In the most recent article about his de-commitment, it says that Michigan is his new #1. I realize it is difficult getting Mississippi's top talent out of the state with Ole Piss and the Cowturds from Starkville, but hey if Michigan is his new #1 than going out of state doesn't seem to be a problem in this case.

I think all signs point to Michigan here. He decommitted after taking a trip UP to Michigan this weekend.

Good luck in Michigan in November / December. Been there, done that and won't ever do it again!

Yep I get that, my point is getting top recruits from Mississippi to go out of the state is difficult to do as most people know. If Gay is considering going to Michigan "which obviously from is statements he is" then we should go all out for him considering his proximity and our need for quality and depth in the LB position. LSU and Michigan are on par with each other in this day and age and playing in Tiger stadium means his family could watch him in person every game as opposed to watching him on TV if he were to go to Michigan.

Michigan is a national brand. They will get a few players from the south as long as they are winning. Also, their new AD is from New Orleans and a former Michigan player. Warde knows there is talent in this area

I'm hearing he probably won't be academically eligible for Michigan.

and now this:... per Shea & twitter.

Baton Rouge (Madison Prep) DE Bryan Jones has decommitted from Ole Miss. He's ranked as No. 14 SDE in the country.
Seems Arkansas wants him badly.

Jones got offered by Oklahoma today, visited Houston 2 weekends ago.

Ole Miss' class is now outside the Top 50 nationally and 12th in the SEC, ouch
