We should just not give scholarships and just take walk-ons.

The final 5 spots should go to standout players who are "all in" and will give a left testicle to play in TS, not kids who just want a hat on the table. I trust this coaching staff that hopefully learned from last years mistakes.

no you still have to go for the top guys that can be difference makers. You don't just stop recruiting a Surtain just because he might go somewhere else.

In this class you don't give up on Sospher until you know you are wasting your time. Last year was just unfortunate circumstances the way it played out. Sometimes it goes your way sometimes it doesn't. That doesn't mean you just give up trying.

I mean I would prefer landing George Pickens, Sospher, Nakobe Dean etc. over some guys I’ve never heard of. You can bring up names like that but in reality it’s rare to find 2 star guys become huge stars. Give me bigger names to finish off this class.

I would rather save a few spots for late transfers or roll them over to next year. We should be solid in a lot of positions for next year and 2020 seems to be pretty talented.

boxcar willie I understand what you are saying about getting big time recruits like Sopsher. I just think LSU offered exactly what he wanted when they offered his brother. Basically giving up 2 scholarships for one player. That is not a deal he will get from Sabama or probably not anywhere else. If he wasn't a Louisiana kid I doubt LSU would have offered his brother. By him not committing once that offer was on the table I just believe he will go to Sabama with or without his brother. I suppose you gotta keep recruiting him, but I wouldn't turn away any top DLinemen to take a chance on Sopsher. IDK man, this type stuff gets tricky.
