Not trying to be a Debby Downer but is it really a done deal yet? What’s the current rule here?
That message seems genuine, but there have been high profile signees that put stuff like this on social media to get the MLB team that drafted them to pony up the cash.

If a team offered him what he was allegedly asking or they would lose a draft pick next year. Doesn’t mean it’s impossible but it’s highly unlikely he gets much more than a courtesy call at this point.
