Y’all, not sure if you saw this kid from Chalmette High. He he had 5 carries for 155 and 3 TDs. He is only a Junior and has a 3.0 GPA. His Dad was a RB for Nicholls State in the late 90s and is O line Coach at Carver. His Momma is school teacher. Really good family high character athlete. Here is his Max preps: LINK

Just curious, but how do you know they're atheists?
On the other hand, that stat line is ridiculous. He averaged 31 yards a pop.

Potentially the next great Afro-Italian running back since Franco Harris.

I thought you meant to say athletes but I'm not sure now such a strange comment

Total spell fail… I believe most Afro-Italian athletes are Catholic/Christians. Hahahaha

I’m lol at this thread. Thanks for the tip on this kid.

So he's a junior? That's awfully small. If he can fly then he'll have a real shot at some big time offers but at that size he needs to have game changing speed.

I wish the Italian half of me could run like that

Hard to tell anything from those highlights, the other team appears to be awful

I agree his Dad and I spoke yesterday, we both thought he is gonna need to put up those numbers consistently and against good opponents. For obvious reasons he is easy to coach and I’m not sure if he has finished growing. The end of this year will tell a lot about his potential.

No problem Pimp! Friday afternoon on this board is pretty quiet. Someone got to spice it up!

That was Grace King… I would have waited for him to put up those stats tonight before starting a thread
However, Zavion Thomas is playing at our stadium tonight and then visiting Alabama…

Kyron Angeletti (2023 RB/WR) continues to rack up crazy numbers. Chalmette beat West Jeff last night and he was player of the game.
Kyron Angeletti: He racked up 121 yards on the ground on just 18 carries. Despite not scoring, the gifted runner was a first-down magnet for the Owls, delivering 12 of his team’s 24 conversions Here is the Nola.comarticle.

i just thought i would bump this thread... Angeletti had a nice long touchdown the other night and was also playing a little QB with our starter absent last week
now we're at home in the playoffs for the first time in 17 years this week
