just no sense in getting too up or down this early

it happens every year - early commits decommit. especially from out of state. the only early commits you can count on are the purple and gold tiger kids who have lsu in their blood.
so it's no big deal about rankings at this time of year. or who says they are coming or not.
it'll shape up when the time comes and we'll get a good class.
and, oh, yes, I love to watch the recruitin action. it's fun and interesting. just nothing to really worry about this early.

True. Everyone's been freaking out that LSU doesn't have many spots left too early in the cycle..........well guess what! We got some spots open, and they will get filled

This happens every year. Pay attention to the ones who are flipping out about it, they are the ones you don't see around here too much. It's like they just jump in to comment when things get negative

There's still going to be a ton of decommits and commits from pretty much every team. Hell the season hasn't even played out yet and these recruits have no idea how the landscape will be till after the season. Plus they are still highschool kids which will change their mind and be swayed a million different ways until signing day.

I won't judge until signing day. The class can be great or not very good but you can't make either judgement especially this time of the year.

Recruiting has become more of a shite show every year and it will continue to get worse.
Two things that I've learned is never believe any of it until the fax comes in , and if the player ever mentions that "LSU is his dream school" then it is OVER!

Many times kids will permit in order to hold a spot at a program. Then they may get a better offer and then decommitt. Recruiting is more fluid.

we have this same conversation, which is correct, a few times every year. So much will probably change after seeing more of Aranda and what Canada can do.

I'm not gonna bag on a kid but there is way more going on with today's youth that leads to their mentality.
