We have needs we have to fill. We HAVE to take a highly rated sure thing in the secondary at this point.

Miller is a top 10 JUCO guy, he's an absolute take.

As for the TE, I'm not going to melt over some guy I don't know. Ensminger and Orgeron thought highly enough of him to give him an invite this weekend, then liked what they saw to the point that they offered. Sounds like a good deal to me.

at this rate half the roster will be made up of transfer and juco players over the next couple of yrs. Not a sound strategy to build a national championship contender.

This influx of JUCO talent is a little weird considering the past regime’s aversion to those types of prospects, but I’m all for it. If Raymond and Busch thinks this guy is good enough then he’s good enough.

Badara Traore was the 2nd rated offensive tackle and 7th overall player in JUCO. And if the spring game is any indication he won't play a meaningful snap here.

JUCO helps round out the depth chart imo. Someone who may possibly be a little older, had issues with grades and turned it around, etc... get younger and older guys to compete for the spots

Yep. I’m not against it. Getting those more mature guys can be a big boost. I trust O’s staff’s evaluations. Just weird seeing so many JUCO guys coming in. Miles didn’t take many at positions like corner.

Traore has the ability to play RT. Just needs time to adjust to the speed of the game coming from JUCO. Still expect Deculus to start and have Traore for depth across the line

I'm not saying I'm on board with taking a lot of JUCO players, but considering the really good players only play 3 years, you are getting a JUCO player who has 2 years of eligibility and likely is more developed than a HS freshman.

Could be backups just incase Fulton's case goes bad and he transfers or other DBs dont develop. We really have no depth at S and CB we need both spots, so I think they are just stockpiling talent

I hope you're right. Seemed extremely slow just getting out of his stance during the spring game.

Wasn't there another JUCO O-lineman? Did you forget about him?

It's weird how some "LSU fans" only remember what they consider to be a negative. Badara has two years left and it is probably not wise to judge him on one spring game.

We have some whiny birches on this board. Complained last year because we waited on the last two spots and got holding the bag, now we show some forethought and y’all bitch about that too.

This is a good get
