Hate to see it and say it but I believe the shipped has sailed on one of the top CB in the nation. He is not only a great CB he’s also one of the fastest in the 23 class. He is also in Our own backyard and a LSU Legacy which stings a little worse every time you lose one of these guys. He is almost a lock for Texas but Tennessee making headway with Bama making a late push, LSU fading everyday. I know it’s early in CBK career, getting a late start on these instate guys for 23, but it’s mandatory that from next year on we’ve got to lock down state. Louisiana native Joseph leading the charge at Texas. I feel this staff is top notch but still hated losing Joseph and Raymond. It won’t hurt long losing these two, but in the immediate future it’s stinging a little especially in the DB recruitment.
Still hated losing Joseph and Raymond from staff, didn’t mean him as recruiter, meant to say La native Terry — and losing Mickey

Mathews is “good” and there are a ton “good” CBs in this class. It’s not like we are losing a Stingley or Tre White here if we do miss out

Is he another Louisiana recruit that holds LSU to a higher standard than out of state schools and is playing the disrespect card?

Never stress about DB's and WR's

LSU has something to prove after 20 and 21, it'll be ok.

Tackett Curtis comes to mind.
I have no doubt Orgeron dropped the ball on some of these, as his interest seems to have drifted to other sports.
But these guys apparently expected VERY special treatment....

Yeah… because Texas has consistently put DB’s into the the first round and draft overall

these kids are besides themselves. $$$$$$$

they going for money now and not seeing their self as an investment. no ROI going to texas.

It’s crazy the amount of entitlement among so many of these football players

What it’s turned into makes it really to hard to even care to be honest

He got hired 7 months ago. He's had time.

In fairness to Tackett, it is not about money.
His family has money.
It seems to be that he and his family expects to be treated like royalty by the local La. common folk, and anything less is disrespectful.
That's just what it looks like...

I think Curtis is going to be a good player. But reasonable folks could differ on that.

You must first be "respectable" before you can be "disrespected"!

That’s true with any prospect.

Curtis handled his recruitment the right way. At least LSU knows not to keep trying to recruit him. He’s not stringing anybody along.
