I normally agree with rankings but they got this one wrong. Wisconsin has an eye for RB especially considering he’s from New Jersey.

Look his 7 offers

Also has a monster offensive line to run behind.

Still a pretty highly rated 3 star though. But Wisconsin does indeed have a great eye for runningbacks. Just think about the backs they've had there the past 10 years. Pretty impressive.

2x 100m state champion. Also he had tons of offers late, he just didn't report them.

10 years? Wisconsin has had consistently elite RBs since the early 90s

It seems like Wisconsin's RBs are good no matter what.

True but I think he would have succeeded under another team if he didn't play for Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is a good reason not to worry about stars. Out of 17 recruits for 2018, only one is a 4 star, with no 5 stars. I think we will be fine.

Wiscy has developed a recruiting pipeline to New Jersey for elite running backs beginning with Ron Dayne. Apparently, those kids can't wait to get the hell out of there.

This is the kid that almost went to Harvard. He wants to be an astrophysicist so he's double majoring in astronomy and physics.

Can you blame them? You ever been to New Jersey?

Their freshman WR Danny Davis is one of the best I’ve seen this year. Just an electric player that could play for any team.

Side topic: the D has actually improved, statistically, after Aranda left.

His high school is about twenty minutes from Corey Clement's high school. Wisconsin has a South Jersey pipeline. I'm from the area and played against Taylor my senior year when he was a freshman, and i'm shocked he is so good now.

I believe there is bias in HS player ratings. a geographic bias for sure. new jersey is just not "supposed" to produce top talent. now, if he would have signed with bama, or ohio state or LSU for that matter he would have been upgraded to a 4 star very fast.

Just to illustrate how good they are at evaluating offensive lineman think about this. In 2013 they signed a guy who had zero stars, was not ranked nationally and Wisconsin was his only offer. The 247 site didn't even have a picture of the guy on his profile. He was Ryan Ramczyk one of the Saints 1st round picks last year.

So bama and Clemson and Ohio state should just run with this thought?
