Jimmy D thinks 2019 class will be special

Don't agree with all of it, but it sure sounds great!

2019 is stacked. We have to produce on the field this year. If we do, top 3 class. Go tigahs!

Agree 1000%. It's crucial we have a solid season and show a revamped offense because 2019 recruiting will be one of LSU's best ever if we do.

Not only will we have to see how our 2017 and 2018 seasons go - I think it will also be important to keep Orgeron and the two coordinators in house.

Orgeron is under contract so it's not like he's going anywhere

And Raymond. With the 2019 DB talent we're in position for it would really REALLY suck to lose Raymond to a DC or HC position right before signing day.

But the #1 class?!? I mean.. That would be amazing.. O would pick up a ton of supporters instantly if that happened. 2009 was the last time we were number 1. And we all know that yielded some pretty good results (minus the thing that shall not be mentioned).

He didn't even mention Dante Starks from John Ehret until the last paragraph!! He is the #1 ranked Inside Linebacker in the freaking nation already and a guaranteed 5-star recruit---unless of course he bombs this year at Ehret, which I highly doubt.

I see potentially 5-6 5 stars or more. I surely hope this year goes well and a big win to start the season on the road against a good BYU team will go a long way.

Well get ready because this season is going to be a good one. Lots of young talent but if you look at it LSU signed lots of #1 guys at their position and we have plenty of depth. We'll be a little young at linebacker, safety, and WR but we've been much younger before and performed at a high level without Aranda or these great assists.

I know I'm really excited to find out how this revamped staff has these guys playing. I think this will be one of the closest teams we've ever seen which is ususally a recipe for success. I don't think it's all talk now, these guys really believe. Come together, play as one, play smart organized football while letting these coaches do their magic.

I just think the team had lost confidence in the previous staff but now have a renewed sense of belief. The new coaches have proven that they will work hard for the players, which will in turn make those players turn it up to another level on and off the field. GT

Starks
Emery
Sophser
Lee
Thomas

ride it out

Thomas is already driving.

I find it hysterical that both Andrew Gleason and Dalvin Hutchinson from West Monroe aren't even listed.. I guarantee you that both will be the very least 4 star prospects with Hutchinson--with a fine year at West Monroe for his first season as a Rebel--a 5-star possibility himself.

State is loaded for 2019.
