Is it just me, or does it seems like LSU hades hit a recruiting lull. Nothing has been popping for us recently.

Look at the bright side for that. All the great local recruits that can't visit other schools will likely end up picking us (eta Brian Thomas)

We've got 16 commitments with virtually no visits. I'd say we are doing well. 10 spots left for kids being recruited on a national level. Wiggins is popping soon and a couple others could pop anytime.

The 20 recruits we will have after Smith, Ryan, Wiggins and Thomas Jr is getting us to a well rounded class. Not having visits may take away of 2-3 very highly rated recruits we could’ve had, but overall still a good class. Now the last 6 spots hopefully get us over the 300 point mark. Commits from Leigh and Foreman would get us over but we shall see.

Haven't followed the latest with him prior to committing but looking at his confident CBs to Miami keeps me reserved on our confident CBs. Hopefully there was some recent development/change that made these predictions look silly.

I don't see us getting a top 5 cb this year. We've got the best cb in the nation for 2 more seasons, and arguably the top cb from last years recruiting class. Next year is a different story, but we are just fine where we are right now.
