In a win over Sam Houston HS, Levi went for 3 touchdowns and over 200 yards receiving. Earlier this year I saw him play against LaGrange and discounted his ability because LaGrange played so poorly. He has elite speed and exceptional mobility in uniform and seems to easily get open against all competition thus far.

He likely has 14 or 15 scores after six games along with over 1000- yards receiving. Levi has an opportunity to break Trey Quinn's single-season reception record which is about 1900 yards, as I recall. He looks to be in the 5-8>5-9 category and 160 lbs. but I was told that he was only a 15 year old junior at the start of this season.

I don't know how to evaluate his potential as a D-1 wide receiver but expect he could benefit a program in some manner.

Numbers are numbers, doesn’t matter to me if he is a 5-9 Junior. These boys grow a lot from Junior to senior year. That’s on a 5A level so super impressive for a Junior. Hope he keeps putting up those stats!

Levi did continue to excel with over 1500 yards receiving and 19 scores in ten games. Barbe seemingly has failed to make the Class 5A playoffs this season. As the season went on he played some safety and became the primary kick returner.

Acadiana HS was the only team to keep his numbers down but that was due to their outstanding pass rush.

Levi and his quarterback will be seniors next season.

He is a 2023 kid.

He already broke trey quinn's regular season yardage record.

Barbe should be good in the seasons to come. Was not their year. Did not play varsity last year due to the Hurricanes. Two of their wins came against teams that did not win a game this year. Did not beat a team with a winning record, weak schedule. The district overall was weak this year outside of Acadiana. I do not expect it to stay that way. Looking forward to seeing the young guys get better, they look like they can sling it! McNeese needs to offer Levi!

I thought of Levi while I was was at the dome last week after the drops. Learned he had a KO TD against LaGrange and he went for 50 yards on 2 receptions. Barbe game had a running clock in the second half. Carencro is on the schedule this evening. Looking forward to seeing him play again.

Upon my understanding D-1 offers are not available. Clearly has 5-A talent but is he simply too small for SEC or LSU?

The SEC player on that team is the sophomore running back, Levi might be a little small.
