314 yards on 22 carries.
Is LSU recruiting this kid. He was the offensive state MVP last year in 1A. He was the outstanding athelete at the Alabama camp this past summer. I dont here talk about him.

I'm sure he's on a list of possible kids, but his height and weight surely don't help him. He's more of a Trindon type player that probably couldn't play RB in the SEC.

I'd be reluctant. Not many 1A skill guys get recruited by big time schools.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

He's in the 2014 stickied thread. Only film is on Rivals (Profile)

He is pretty fast! Nike Sparq Combine 2012 (Houston)

Sonny Shipp (247) wrote an article about him saying he is one RB "to keep an eye on".
Had this list of teams that came and saw him during the spring:
LSU, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas A&M 247 profile (link to article on him)

Good player but not better than either Chris Thomas or Elijah McGuire who both play against tougher competition in Class 4A.

The only 1A teams they play are in there district and playoffs. The stats he put up this past week and for the season so far have been against 3A schools.

Lower tier SEC school is the current story for him.( I have relative on staff at VC). Excellent runner; however, can anyone else think back to the last 1A rb to start at LSU?
Maybe Germaine Williams- ascension catholic in Hallman days?

I mentioned on 2/28/2012 that this kid was going to be a special RB.Reminds me of Kevin Faulk. His coach last year was Trev Faulk.Jacoby loves LSU and would jump at an LSU offer and would be a solid commitment.Outstanding speed.Ran second to Bradley Sylve in the 100m at state track meet.Slyve is currently at Alabama.Sylve ran a 10.18 100m at the Texas Relays and his time was the 9th fastest in the World.Jocaby ran second to Sylve as a freshmen at the Louisiana state track meet.

Well, Stevan Ridley was from a tiny school in the MPSA, so it is possible to get an offer despite being a skill player at a tiny school.

I know another kid that was MVP of the Bama Camp and two others that made the " All-Saban Team" at the Camp. Only one is really being recruited by them, and he'll be a Tiger.

Davis is a legitimate D1 talent. He has breakawy speed and runs surprisingly tough for his size. Definitely has room to put on some size. He will be a playmaker at the next level.
