Get Foreman, Smith, Leigh, and either Byrd/Kimo and Fire Pelini and hire a competent DC and I’ll forgive this season lol.

I agree but why are you saying this now? We are not getting more than 3 Oline guys at this point. Oline recruiting is our only weakness in this class. I feel good that we are back where we needed to be on Dline and now need to fix Oline going forward. If Leigh and 1 other sign, then we did a good job on quality, but we have to improve on the quantity of Oline recruits going forward. Too many misses happen to recruit so few.

I’m getting less confident in Leigh and more in Foreman. I think Smith is almost a lock.

Two OL would leave us woefully short. That would be three both this year and last.

If you can get one of the seniors to come back and hold on to the juniors, you could have 12 OL returning so that would be 14. You could also move Evans back to OL.
I would prefer 15, but the real problem is not recruiting as much it is attrition. LSU has a real attrition problem.
On the other hand, I would have preferred 4 OL in this class; however, we got 4 WDE instead.

Since he can not play OL, nor is he the Number One guy in the composite, I can not agree.

I could see it if we did not have 4 WDE on the list already. He looks like an excellent prospect, but there is that pesky 25 scholarship limit.

If we add either Leigh+Smith+decent 3* OL or Leigh+Smith+Foreman and we keep our current commits, I will absolutely fricking forgive this abomination of a season. We'd basically lock up a top 3-5 roster in the country from 2021 through 2025 (assuming the 2022 class comes together the way it appears to be doing). WE COMIN (BACK).

1) Shemar Turner is a 2022 kid

2) Shemar Turner is, imo, as good or better than *anyone* we have or are hoping to get in our 2021 class. Jordan burch last year and korey foreman this year are special talents for sure, but turner is absolutely electric. That's a kid with true #1 overall potential. If he wants to come, we're taking him. Period.

I think you’re thinking of Shemar Stewart. Shemar Turner is a 2021 DE.
