If Burch ends up here

Does that move us up a number as far as our recruiting class from where we currently are? Seems like it would be huge. I don’t keep up like most of you with recruiting but would a 5* DL move us up in the rankings?

we're locked in at 4. we can't go down or up at this point. Burch + Mckinnley Jackson wouldn't have pushed us up to 3 either.

In the grand scheme of things if you end near the 300's in a class. That class is elite enough to keep you competing and developing championship caliber teams. O can recruit, and the 2021 class is stronger in Louisiana than the 2020 class was and fills more of our needs that year. LSU is not going anywhere in terms of ability to recruit the next few years.

If Jordan commits to LSU it gets us to 307.30.
We will still be 4th but closer to Clemson at 3rd with 309.73 points.
Bama is at 310.44 and UGA is at 313.34.

In conclusion, the top 3 all signed record breaking classes in the same cycle. In most years, our class would finish #1

We will stay at 4 but with the addition of Burch the top 4 all range from 307-313. Those are all very equally talented rosters and it’s very hard imo to claim which is the best.

We would have two solid 4-3 DEs and two solid DTs to set up the transition to a 4-3 very nicely.
