I've seen several guys mentioned for OVs that last weekend before signing day. Another thing worth noting is the national SBE camp in Westlake, some prospects from the camp may be visiting campus. Basketball game on Saturday too.

Prospects I've seen or heard mentioned visiting that weekend.

Ishmael Sopsher - DL
Charles Moore - DE
Byron Young - DE
Soni Fonua (Juco) - DE/Edge
Devonta Lee - ATH
Christian Williams - DB
Garmon Randolph - TE

Interesting. His 247 profile said he was going to be at Oregon that weekend.

According to the bama recruiting guy bone , young will sign with bama and ish is a back up plan. Was on jay barker radio show today. Ish brother will not get a scholarship to bama.

I think young has always been favored to go to bama which is why he never decomitted. It’s going to come down to either Moore or Sopsher for us. Pickering is state bound. Since Rodney reclassified, we should not offer him for next year. There’s too many talented DL in the class next year to waste a scholly on Rodney. Whether this helps or hurts us with Ish remains to be seen.

At this moment I lean towards:
1. Ish
2. Lee
3. Moore
4. Fonua
5. Gant/Williams
6. Hampton

Gant is saying the right things at the moment, so we'll see how the visit goes. Lots of moving parts behind the scenes right now.

I love that list, but I'll be disappointed if Parker's a qualifier, but not in the class.

According to billy embody, Parker missed his chance and now have no room. Also said he tried to signed a week after the early period was over but was to late.

How can we have no room? He’s still a commit should he make the grades.

So the 12th ranked OT in the country from Ruston tried to sign and O told him to take a hike.

This is fake news.

I tend to agree with Billy. Not a given he's out, but we'd have to miss on a few I think.

He wouldn't even have been able to sign a week after the signing period ended.

If Parker is going to qualify, I'd much rather him over taking 3 safeties.

Right meaning he couldn’t sign due to how the rules are structured not bc they wouldn’t accept his signature due to “room problems.” Why would we pass on an highly ranked in state player at a major position of need so we can get an extra DB???

If we finished with that I would bust a nut. That would put this d-line class very strong too. Gant will be a stud and that would be a really nice surprise and snag. Only thing I would wish is to take Parker over Fonua, but I’m not sure the whole story behind that. He can be a true Tackle, and I don’t want to miss on our best Tackle prospect this class.

There's more to the story... I said a few weeks back, him not signing wasn't all about grades. He had some personal issues.
