Not sure what site updated, but big movers.

We now have 3 new 4-stars committed and 1 guy dropped from a 4 to 3 star. We are up to #14 in team rankings now, I believe we were 16 or 17 before the update.

8 4-stars and 11 3-stars committed now

Not trolling but is Jaquon Griffin going to sign early? I feel like the staff may tell him to look around if we get some of the bigger fish on the board.

the fact is that we still have a shot at getting the #1 WR, #1 CB, #6 DB #3 QB and possibly the #2 CB is simply amazing.

Been rumblings about him possibly not being in the class, but nothing concrete yet

And people say the Bama bump isnt real haha. When Rosenthal was committed to Bama, he was a 5 star, but now he is a 3 star? Even if Rosenthal had a bad year, there is no way to justify such a drastic fall. I remember Willie Allen was a 5 star entering his senior year, had a rough season, and did not show well at camps prior to it, but he only fell to a 4 star. If you cant see the bias, I dont know what to tell you.

It's confirmed now they just removed scout's rankings, so now it's just 247's, rivals and ESPN's rankings.

247 acquired Scout not too long ago

I follow recruiting pretty close and never remember either being close to a 5-star.

Same scenario happened with Kain Daub. Might have been the initial ranking of their respective classes, but for a brief time I do recall them being ranked ridiculously high 5 stars. Granted, that ranking is normally off of size alone, rather than on field production and before the camp circuit kicks in, and both Rosenthal and Allen had that early on.

Chase killed it this year and drops 15 spots

Cotton injured knee week 1 and doesn’t play again and moves up 8 spots

Post above explains it. Its not a new set of evaluations, its only an update with Scouts rankings taken out.

Kind of gives an idea of how bad Scouts rankings were to us this cycle.

Dang Alabama is behind Tennessee at 23...

that's bizarre to see these deep in the recruiting cycle...

This is the highest BAMA has been all year. Little chance to jump much as most of the highly rated uncommitted are not potential commits for them. They are going to get a couple of highly rated JUCOS including Savion Smith but l;ooks like a 15 to 20 finish for them.

What will be interesting is how the coaching changes in the SEC affects Florida, Tennessee, A&M, State and Arkansas. Look for Tennessee and State to drop, Florida could go either way depending on how Mullen is perceived by their current commits and if any State commits follow him.

Aggies will be OK if Jimbo takes the job, other wise could fall some.

Arkansas will probably remain status quo unless they can convince Malzahn to jump which would hurt Auburn and help them.

Rodgers has been hurt all year and now he’s a 5star. What has he done to change his status? He must be killing it in the film room

Crazy to me that at this point of the recruiting season, LSU has zero commits in the Top 150.
