The dead period only prohibits in-person contact, Freeze still gets one phone call a week and ircc Hootie can call them whenever he wants. Plus there's tons of grey area on facebook and twitter.

Am I the only person that thinks the expanded dead period only really expanded the burner cell phone market? I mean, they've always just been for drug dealers and college football and basketball coaches, but the demand has to have gone up.

Prettymuch. I mean this is the same recruit who admitted to getting a phonecall within the hour from Bama after talking to any other school. I think we're at a major disadvantage having the McCarthy thing go down, now compliance is probably stalking coaches and planting bugs on them.

Except for LSU coaches. Not after DJ McCarthy and his phone calls with Hicks. It's almost a fireable offense to have a cell phone that isn't registered (and logged) by the compliance department now.

ETA: sorry DrunkenTigah, didn't see your post. What he said.

Another ETA: yes, Skype is the grey area monster friend. And not just Bama. Bama prefers the "Quality Control Assistant" approach, but it does work.

Yeah, I stand corrected, just read the rule. Saban is a Skype fiend. Wonder if Bucky in Oxford is too?

You need to realize bbi only says what they are told. they aren't making anything up. now with that said, I think they are being told things so those things intentionally get out.
intentional misinformation, but not their doing.

Hootie Jones, Jamal Adams, Tony Brown, Ed Paris, Devin Voohries, and Adoree Jackson.

Adoree would probably be used on offense, so the others would be the fab five and unfortunately John Battle IV would be offered a greyshirt.
