Is LSU recruiting this kid ? He has amazing accuracy and touch on the ball. He is lighting up the Uhigh defense.

He was evaluated but we already have two 2020’s so I’m guessing they decided to pass

Jamie Howard's son in the backup and is supposed to be pretty good. No idea if he is SEC caliber etc.

Sorry to say he’s not on LSUs radar. CUSA kid at best. I thought UHigh had more studs than this on defense. They just let the kid sit back in the pocket and played three man the whole night. Makes no sense unless ur hiding ur secondary. The Catholic league does this a lot. As soon as they put some decent pressure on him the errant throws came which were few and far between. Why did they roll him out the pocket on that play makes no sense.

Accuracy is one of THE most important characteristics of a QB.

LSU would be wise to pass on the Narcisse and Finley types if they want a competent passing game.

Those kids are better athletes but can’t hit the broadside of a barn.

Holstein is a perfect 2nd QB for a 2 QB class.

Anybody and they maw can sit back in the pocket and throw darts with no pressure in their face. Should we offer their WRs too? The TE? If you have the athletes which they will in college it will be 4 man plus pressure that he will have to deal with and when they did put pressure on him the throws were off. No press coverage, it’s simple pitch and catch .

Finley is also not the athlete u make him out to be. Maybe this kid will camp with us so we can end this debate. Kids from STM put up crazy numbers every year in that offense. Don’t buy into it.

Finely and Holstein did camp together at LSU and they were told in advance that an offer might come based upon how they performed at camp. From what I heard, Holstein had a better camp and they offered Finely anyway.

Well then that ends this debate. Not one pundit mentioned Holstein as having a blow away camp it was Finley who was killing it. Everybody was on Finley until the season went into the tank. I don’t know what happened.

What I heard came from a family member of Holstein, so it's somewhat of a biased opinion. I definitely don't have first hand knowledge of how they performed at camp.

You can't throw darts if you don't have a cannon for an arm. Holstein has one of the better arms in LA football in recent years. Plus he showed amazing touch on one of his TDs in the championship game when he floated one to the TE in the EZ.

He supposedly has been offered by ULL, USM, & a few other Group of 5 schools. I've seen him 3 times this year, including against a good Catholic High D, and he was pretty accurate each game.

I have heard that Howard's kid is so good that he might seriously push this kid for the starting spot next year. Is that accurate? Seems crazy considering the year the soon to be senior just had.

U High is. 2A school with a few ringers. They play no one. I am sure the recruits are good but I do not think you can tell, from their, competition

Holstein will loose out to Howard next year. I was more impressed to UHigh’s QB. And LSU did not miss out with Harris, he is a plug. Lazy and zero effort. I was actually very impressed with the rest of the UHigh prospects, the RB #7 was the most impressive. Their best two defenders were #77 that committed to LSU and the LB #32. #32 was considerabley better then #21, not ideal size but a natural playmaker.
