This is odd. I’m all in favor of the coaches taking the kids *they* think are the best, rather than the kids that the recruiting services think are the best—but there’s usually a pretty significant overlap, there. Given the *ridiculous* amount of very-high level targets we have a really good shot at in the 2022 class, it’s kinda surprising that we keep getting commitments from relative unknowns. You’d think the staff would want to hold off a bit until we see those blue chippers shake out a bit

I’d say Welch is a lock and coaches know that... so that two CBs already, plus you’ve gotta court Little and Harris.... and not sure if Kmauri Rodgers (sp?) is completely over with or not.... but unless Scott is a looking like a stellar steal.... and don’t get this. Other than generating positive news or momentum

He may just be unknown on recruiting sites but could be seeing his stock blow up here soon. Happens all the time and likely more are slipping through the cracks due to Covid.
