Probably staying on the west coast, but obligatory “we should”.

Oregon OL Kingsley Suamataia has entered the transfer portal. The true freshman was a top-50 recruit and highest-rated signee in Ducks' 2021 class.

Wisconsin had a center/guard enter the portal yesterday — he was a partial starter that couldn't ever secure a spot due to switching sides of the ball/injury

There are going to be options

Should we? Uh, yes we should. We need as many bodies as we can get up front. Likely will have two true freshman starting next year up front.

Lots of fans are content with our class so far. I'm not.

Walter Nolan--had high hopes. Likely isn't coming. Low end chance.

Shamar Stewart was our guy supposedly for months. Now, he is A&M or Miami.

Kelvin Banks was realistic. Nope.

Jacoby Matthew's is decommitted and I'm not holding my breath here.

Aaron Anderson is all but giving his signals he is gone.

Once upon a time we had Khamauri Rogers locked up for months. From Mississippi, now committed to Miami.

So, to me, Wiggins, Law, Preston, Matthew's, are absolute musts. And now Allen being available is a must.

We need more OL. We need Julian Armella and Malik Agbo.

I hope Woodward has guy immediately after the season is over for recruiting purposes going into the early signing period.

No one should be confident right now, but also shouldn't give up hope with Woodward deeply invested in the program knocking a homerun hire out of the park. My hope lies with him pulling it off and us keeping our recruits plus adding some great ones to the list.

I don't know what happened with Nolan but I remember what happened with some of the others. Shemar visited and came in wanting money so we said no and we got dropped. I think what happened with Kelvin was the Cregg firing although most of us did not like him he was the main reason for Banks. Jacoby was probably too early from the get go, Anderson you've got right and we processed Khaumari. Supposedly Agbo would commit if we let him but that was a while ago and Armella is shaping up to be a fight with FSU.

I find it hard to believe they wouldn't take agbo's commitment.

You would think.

I find it hard to believe Shemar would ask for money and another school would accept his commitment.

Or that Rogers would be "processed". Tired of this type shite.

I'm not so certain what the situation currently is however that was the last thing anybody heard about him.

Regarding Shemar that is the only thing that has been said is that he and his coach who he brought with him asked for money which we said no, regarding Khaumari that is just what had been said about him and why he decomitted. Just going off of what has been said and the lack of recent information on them due to us being out for many of them for one reason or another.

I initially felt the same way about Agbo, chalky.

And then I looked over his recruiting tapes. Not trying to be a dick but the stuff he put on film was not anything special and frankly It made me have serious doubts as to whether or not he can be developed into an SEC lineman.

I realize where our program is with the offensive line (&, it ain’t pretty), but I’m just going to say it out loud - I don’t believe adding Agbo makes us any better along the offensive line and there’s a real chance we would be wasting a scholarship.

I’d rather see us go all in on a transfer portal kid (or two), but that’s just my two cents on this particular situation

As for Suamataia, yes we should. And he's not just a body. Now he needed to put on muscle mass, and hasn't done enough for Christobal/Greatwood's taste. But there's huge potential there, and he's not chopped liver as it stands today. He's a backup on what's probably a top-10 (maybe 15) OL in CFB this year. He's also comparable, as a freshmen, to any OT taking the field for us. His upside is that of Dellinger.

He hasn't played as much as Dellinger (under 20 snaps at OT) but has graded in the 70's on PB and mid 60's. Not bad for a freshman (with limited data mind you).

As for Kaden Lyles... I dunno. He's moved between DE and OG/C so has limited experience and was the projected starter but got beat out. He has injury problems (lower body). We are and will be even more desperate for a center so it might be worth a spot. I say no because of the injury thing and lack of experience. We're so desperate at the position we can't afford to miss. But they damn sure better be shopping.

Between this guy, the kid from Michigan, and the kid from Wisconsin, we could have some semblance of an OL next year.

He's really poor with technique, especially form and balance.

I'm going to disagree with you here... if, a big if, he gets some better coaching I think he has the versatility and athleticism to be a very good, not great - but very good, OT.

My worry lies in how coachable is he? I am going to agree with you in a way by saying it is possible he's getting the instruction but isn't receptive and/or isn't putting in the work and it is showing on film.

Disclaimer: I'm basing my statement on the assumption, freely admitted it is an assumption, that he isn't getting good coaching and being drilled properly.

I don't see how agbo isn't a take. Might have to move inside but he is powerful and moves well. Big boy.

Just visited texas and said it felt like home. Supposedly he might not even visit lsu.

I like neto umeozula at right tackle for lsu.

Armella was connected to lsu because of orgeron so i wonder how that plays out.

I would hope that Marlon Martinez, Marcus Dumvervil and Mason Taylor all being from the same HS would be a bigger factor than Orgeron. FSU losing a few more games wouldn't hurt.

Expected to transfer to Jackson State to play with his brother who is the backup qb there.
