I know most people on here will rejoice from this decommit, probably LSU is making room for a higher star rated player, but I thought the kid was pretty good. He's a little on the light side (260ish, which is why he is probably a 3 star) for dline, but he played hard and made plays. I thought he was going to be a good player a couple years down the road. But, since Hines was moved to dline, I suppose they didn't need Griffin. It's a good trade off, 'cause Hines has the size and speed and quickness and he is better than Griffin, IMO.

I won't rejoice in someone who wanted to be a Tiger de-committing, but I'm pleased that room is becoming available to fill positions of need. Good luck to the kid in finding a program that fits him.
