Grandson Makhi Reed won the All Saban award at the Bama camp. He will be a freshman at Minden High. They had him working with the sophomores, and today the last day had him working with juniors. Only one underclassman and one upperclassmen receive this award.
On his way to the LSU elite camp Thursday. 6’2” 262, 14 year old.
On his last day in 8th grade he was the starting NG for Minden Varsity vs Richwood. Here is his hudl highlights from the game. Proud grandfather !!

He has a list of favorite teams. Bama is way down there. Big LSU fan and friends with Devin White.
Family friend that is Bama nut paid for and took him there. I am all for coaching him up by good coaches and getting exposure.
Minden High is the Crimson Tide. I want to puke at the thought of hollering Roll Tide for the next 4 years. Damn sure not going to be doing it for another 3-4.

I think you need to distance yourself from this Bama person that you call a family friend. He is no friend trust me. He is only your friend to make your grandson go to Bama lol.

Real talk...this “family friend”...if he isn’t related, put some distance. This is how Bama does this stuff. What kind of “family friend” pays for stuff? That’s how it starts. That “friend” ain’t doing that for free. They will want something for it at some point. Like your grandson to go to the school of your “family friends” choice... not your grandsons choice.

And I have a totally different mindset. You stay close to him so he gets comfortable with you and eventually tells you about who is helping him become the bagman and how they deliver the keys to the Charger. Then you have them.
