How can some of our "fans" not like our coach? Coach Miles is a class act through and through. Has he made questionable calls/decisions in his tenure at LSU? Sure, but every coach has decision's that could be questioned. The guy truly loves LSU. It's not just a stepping stone job to get to the NFL to him. Bottom line, his pros heavily outweigh his cons and it isn't even close. He deserves way more praise than we give him.

Well said. Couldn't agree more

I think you are right. I think the SEC has three programs who play that game. Most dont take it that far.
I can think of at least six, with several more if you count basketball.

Good move by Miles and the staff, these little stories could be impactful for other recruits and their families.

Sounds like a great leader. We definitely needed him. Thanks Mr Godchaux. I'm already a big fan and best of luck to you and your recovery!

Yep, Miles IS different and in a good way. Any jerk can say the typical "everybody does it" crap of a line to make themselves sound cool and smart when they really have no clue how prevalent it is or isn't.

Also remember when he tore his ACL and a lot of people on here thought we might should pull his offer because he "had his chance to commit to us already?"Well look at what he says about that:

I love me some Coach Miles. Most I don't like here hate him. So that explains that.

Haha it was actually a couple of people saying that they dont think we should keep his offer on the table. Then 1 person said we should pull it because "he had his chance to commit, didnt, and decided to look else where." Like there was a timetable on when he could or couldnt commit.

You do realize hes already 6'4 275lbs and is very very strong? The 1 thing that really pops out to people when they see him is his size and strength, to go along with his speed and athleticism.

Think he loves the $4 million we give him each year? Look, I like Miles, but I'm realistic enough to know that LSU is a job to him.
