I think LSU will surprise a few highly ranked teams next year.
That would be great, if it was 1995. We shouldn't be "surprising" anyone.

LSU is going to have to step it's game way the frick up on the field first, prove it can beat these teams, and then steal their recruits. That's really all there is to it. If we can't do that then it's time to move on.
With GA now signing all of their recruits, Bama will come into LA harder than ever. Saban used to steal everyone from GA and pick out what they needed in LA, but now they will hit it hard in LA, and A&M will move to hit east Texas harder than ever. This staff will need to keep our own while going into these States for a few of their best as well.
They have a job on their hands but it starts on the field in 2018!! GT

I remember when people were laughing at me last year on this very board when I said they were going to be very good on the field and have a ridiculous recruiting class in year two.
We both fired long tenured successful coaches. Thing is UGA fired Richt exactly when they should, and LSU waited another 7 months for Miles to make it hurt more and miss out on reasonable HC hires. UGA then hired a promising young coordinator who had been studying, for years, under arguably the best HC in CFB history. We hired a man who was possibly the worst head coach in our division rival's history. A rival that has had many poor seasons.
This is what you have when bitch boy Alleva doesn't stand up to anybody.
