I did a little math. Here are the stats for the top 7 ranked (247) wrs from last year's class.
Flemming- Ohio State. 7 rec, 74 yrds, 0 yrs.
Bouttee-lsu. 45 catches, 774 yards n 5 yrs (should have been 7) the a&m reversal and Bama dropped ball at the 1 vs. Bama.
Demas- AnM--0,0,0
Smith-Njigola--USC 6 rec, 17 yards.
Jarrett--Maryland--17 rec, 252 yrds, 2td.
Bryant--7 rec, 54 yrd, 0 td
Arian Smith, 1 rec, 31 yrds, 1 td
Basically, boutte had more catches, yrds, n tds than all the others combined lol.

Hate to say it but play out the current WR situation with Jarrett in the fold. What a storyline that would've been heading into 2021. Rough choice choosing relative obscurity in Maryland.

It just continues the trend that most of the time we actually “win” these Signing Day “losses”

Boutte took advantage of a great opportunity and shined

It just seems like Boutte knows how to get open just like Jets.

That’s because message boards blow those “losses” WAY out of proportion

Boutte was the best WR in the end of year games...he shined against the best and we knew he was a homerun. If Chase and Marshall has stayed (and Racey healthy) he would have a much different stat line.
