GP. - 18
PTS/G - 13.4
FG % - 41.1
3PT % - 32.3
FT % - 81.9
REB/G - 2.8
A/G - 5.8
For what it's worth.....just passing on some information I came across. Not really sure how I feel on this one. He's a 6'2" Soph. PG, former scorer first type player, originally from Lafayette High, LA. At least current LSU commit Galen Alexander seems to like it.

He was really good in high school and had interest from some big schools. Didn't get many offers because of his grades.
That's about all I know about him.

Definitely a target that LSU needs to go after to fill in the roster. Him and 2 big men are badly needed.

Trade him for Patterson please.

We just offered him. He's probably seen as a replacement of Blakeney. Wade better not F around and not sign a post player in the spring

Travis Webb is a good man

I knew him at Lafayette High. He can definitely play but his attitude was only so-so. Maybe he's grown up a little.

We need a couple of 7 footers who can ball! Haven't had decent center-forward since Shaq and Stanley Roberts or Cookie Man-Scales!!

We just need a strong athletic 6'8 back to the basket guy. He doesn't have to be 7'

Stromile and Jabari?
Big Baby and Tyrus Thomas?
Lloreda and Dupree?
Jarrel Martin and Jordan Mickey?

Hell I wish my cousin Roydell Brown would transfer to LSU from ULL

Davis' final season numbers:
35/35 GP/GS (Team was 33-2, lost in NJCAA Quarterfinals)
17.4 PPG
49.5% FG
46.0% 3PT
78.3% FT
3.2 RPG
3.7 APG
2.4 A/TO Ratio
1.5 SPG
He had a huge year on a team which was the #1 seed in the NJCAA tournament. I'd say he's a no-brainer as a signee even though Wade absolutely, positively has to pick up at least one more big man this spring.

as of now we have ONE scholarship unfortunately. I think he's a take only if we can't find a big or create additional space

Creating additional space on that roster should not be a problem.

I predict at least two players will leave. Blakeney and Robinson are the two most likely.
Robinson does not fit with Wade's system. He would be well served to transfer to a different system. He would benefit from the redshirt year.

Not to mention Sampson is testing the NBA draft (he didn't hire an agent). I don't think he goes, but there are going to be players that leave simply because it's a new coach. They are probably used to just doing whatever the f they want under CJJ, so having a real coach like Wade who actually makes them play defense is going to be quite a shock for them.

Its not just defense. Its going to class, making curfew, making weight, conditioning, remember A LOT of plays, etc.

Will Sampson even get invited to the combine?
