Sounds like the staffs efforts at the Championship game didn't make much ground. Not surprising. But I agree whole heartedly, using a scholarship on Rodney would be a big mistake. And since the staff already spun that top and it did no good should be a good sign Ish is all bama and his brother is a second though. Next years La. DL class has 3 pretty good players and at least 1 is better than Ish, IMO. I don't see Dline as being an absolute necessity this class. Cotton and Jenkins will both be freshmen again next season. It'd be great to get an Ika or Sopsher, but not getting them won't hurt. But not getting an Ika or Sopsher makes getting Jacobian Guillory a MUST next class. CamRon Jackson is a good one and so is Jaquelin Roy. Guillory is just on a different level athletically. I know McKinnley Jackson was once committed to LSU, but it doesn't look like he has any interest in them anymore. But, the La. dline class is a good one next class. Again, LSU needs to take care of business at home.

Viramontes, and yes, but he isn't signing til February. If we don't get Dean Aranda will push hard for him, but there's several other teams on him now, and he knows he isn't first choice, so we'll see.

In essence, yes, but that 1 extra spot would have to be grad transfer or early enrollee so it can be back counted.

Saban nor any of the defensive staff has been out to Utah to visit him this Fall if I understand correctly... Feeling better and better about this one
