Ward
D. Lee
R. Jones
Green or Morris
Surprise DL
Pickens

We probably won’t keep all of our current commits, so this should be a fun ride to both signing days.

Christian Williams DB from Daphne, AL. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit.

If the visit with Deng goes well he could end up a tiger quickly. He likes VT but also started college at VMI and is from VA so being familiar with the area intrigues him. With a good visit we will be in a great spot to land him. Ignore the CB’s on 247 the race for him is still very much open

He’s been sporting LSU gloves in recent games and has seen very into the idea of being a tiger! Would love to see us flip him but also would hate to see us get screwed by another bama commit

Pickens - WR
Jay Ward - CB
Miller decommits and we replace with R. Jones - CB
Myron Warren - DE
D. Lee - ATH
K. Deng - OLB

Gives us a class breakdown like this:

1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
5 OL
2 DL
4 LB
5 DB
1 Ath
2 Specialist

Would love to have another DL instead of the LB or WR but it is what it is. Solid Top 5 class that would set us up at Running Back and Defensive Back for the next 3 years while also building some depth on the OL.

2020 is gonna have to be 4 or 5 DL and probably 2 QBs.

Coach O said he wants another QB in this class.

I'm just sayin. I keep sayin it.

It might be a transfer, but, there's 1 flying under the radar somewhere I guess, because no one on this board mentions one.

I think because the possible names aren't exciting.

LSU really needs at least 2 more DEs and a rush type of OLB with some bulk. I just think this would make our defense very tough to defend with all the speed guys we have. We need 3 total quality DE recruits in a bad way. I'll be good with how the rest fall, as long as we can find this.

I wouldn't mind seeing another big time OT. But I think we have two future all SEC OTs in the system now, who just need to develop. Rosenthal and Wire. Then you add Parker and move our current LT to RT and I think we have an OL. I'm hoping one of Wire or Rosenthal are ready next year then we slide some guys around.

We have plenty of depth there to make it work in the future. DL is a different story. We need some animals there in a bad way. I just don't get how we can't convince a few to come play for the Tigers. Or we get them here and they don't want to try. It's the craziest dynamic. I hope we can pull it off.

I'm going to go like this: I'm going to drop McClendon and Miller and go with a final 7 of:

1. WR - Devonta Lee
2. OL - Charles Cross
3. DL - Marcus Stripling
4. DL - Myron Warren
5. LB - Chester Graves oe Kuony Deng
6. CB - Raydarious Jones
7. CB - Jay Ward

My opinion only based on what I have been hearing. Miller is out. The final six will look something like this. The staff really wants R. Jones but it's a battle. Several SEC schools are going after him hard. The feeling is he is very underrated by the recruiting services.

1. WR - D. Lee
2. LB - Chester Graves
3. CB - Raydarious Jones
4. CB - Jay Ward
5. LB - Kuony Deng
6. DL - To be Named from among several possibilities.

ETA: May not sign Deng and hold that scholarship open for a possible transfer.

It won’t hurt next year I doubt we lose anyone to the draft this year. Our front 5 return including Chaisson

So has the ship sailed on our mystery elite OT we were courting?

We lose 2 of our 20:

1. D Lee - WR
2. R Jones - DB
3. Jay Ward - DB
4. Chester Graves - DE/OLB
5. D. Warren - DL
6. Nakobe Dean - LB (wishful thinking)
7. a QB

I don't see us signing another OLineman unless he's a stud. With what we have signed and already on the roster, we should have 16 Offensive Lineman on scholarship next year.... 17 if Ed Ingram comes back (doubtful) and 18 if Ray Parker moves to OL. I think he's a TE.

Dobbs was who I was referring to then, and no visit ever happened. He was genuinely interested at the time, and Cregg had him on the hook, but it just never gained enough traction.

Kind of what I thought. Of the 3 OTs we have committed, is it definite Parker will move to OT vs TE and do Bradford and Perry project more as OTs or OGs? It seems they may lack the agility to play outside.

Perry and Parker will be OT's. Bradford could play RT, but projects better at OG

Do you think Rosenthal will be the starting LT next season? I have heard nothing but rave reviews about him as a lineman.

He's made huge strides this year, and definitely has the athleticism for the spot, but he's still got a ways to go before he's ready to be penciled in as starter at LT. Not saying he won't have made those progressions by next Fall, but it's a little premature to think he's got the spot locked up at this point.

Devonta Lee as a safety
Jay Ward
Raydarious Jones (think Miller decommits)
George Pickens
Kuony Deng
Siaki Ika (think Bama doesn’t have room)
