Expected Early Enrollees vs Available Space?
Posted by AlwysATgr on 11/24/12 at 8:57 pm00
Anyone know how this is shaping up for '13?
Thanks for the links Suntiger. If I read them right, we could have up to eleven EE's:
1) Rettig
2) Jennings
3) Pocic
4) Logan Stokes
5) LaCouture
6) Diarse
7) Leslie
8) Boutte
9) Avery Johnson
10) Tre'Davious White
11) DeSean Smith
So four could count against last year's "under-enrolled" class? That means we would have to have seven spots freed up by current players graduating next month?

All 11 would have to fit in the current total limit of 85. Four could count toward the 2012 initial counter limit of 25, the rest would have to count toward the 2013 initial counter limit of 25.
I doubt we would have room for all 11 to enroll early.

this doesn't make sense to me. I thought we already told neal he could not enroll early because of space limitations. we will not take 11 early enrollees.

I'm not sure those numbers are correct and that all of those are early enrollees. Thats a list from those other threads where people thought those were the the possible/probable EEs.
Only one's I'm pretty sure on are Avery Johnson, Pocic, Stokes, Jennings, Rettig and Diarse.

Definitely get the OOS commits in early, especially the QBs.
Suntiger is correct. I went through the two threads and compiled all the names.
Seems like last year we had more EE wannabe's than slots available (e.g., Patrick Miller OT now w/ AU). I was wondering how things were shaping up this year. I'm not tuned into the recruiting scene well enough to know how likely any of the eleven shown are to actually EE.

Day before classes start....classes are basically scheduled for them by football staffers that are in charge of academics
